Tamil Nadu Science Forum, TNSF is a people science movement and any one who thinks to serve the community can join and help for the betterment. Being a member of this forum you will receive monthly magazine entitled Vingyana Siragu. This magazine will have the articles written by professors, Teachers, Scientists and Activists. The subscription and membership fee is 20/- Indian Rupees for the indian Subscribers. Being member you can involve in various scientific activities.

Tamilnadu Science Forum, TNSF works in areas of literacy, health, education, women's empowerment, science popularization, agriculture, enterprise development, water management, ecology, environmental issues, rural technology and application of information technology in villages.TNSF is initiating 1500 village libraries across. To help the programme get off the ground and reach a minimum critical size of 1500, TNSF is planning to subsidize the first round of books to these libraries.

Tamil Nadu Science Forum was started in 1980 by scientists. Now it has grown into a peoples movement and has a membership of 12000 including scientists, Farmers, Teachers, Women - people from almost every walk of life.Its programmes include science popularization and publication, literacy and continuing education campaigns, intervention in primary education, women’s development, and development interventions in health and income generation.

தமிழ்நாடு அறிவியல் இயக்கம் மக்களிடம் அறிவியல் சார்ந்த விழிப்புணர்வு ஏற்படுத்த மக்களால் உருவாக்கப்பட்ட மக்கள் இயக்கம். ஆரம்ப கட்டங்களில் விஞ்ஞானிகள், ஆசிரியர்கள் என அனைத்து தரப்பு மக்களும் அமைத்த இயக்கம் ஆகும்.
